Zach honorably served in the Army for four years prior to completing his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Washington. While pursuing his undergraduate degree he worked to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Zach developed a passion for understanding the human body and how to help heal people through exercise.

He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He has since been board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Zach has additional training in postural restoration, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), and vestibular therapy.
